PERSONALITY

A friendly and easygoing witch with an adventurous spirit, whose familiar is a sentient hat that looks like a frog! Patches is constantly dreaming up ways to have fun and enjoy life. They are rather quirky and unusual for a being living on Venus, as its residents normally keep to themselves and aren't very playful.

MAGIC

 Patches wasn't born with the ability to use magic, but thanks to their staff, they can use spacetime manipulation magic on any body of water, such as a puddle, lake, or sink filled with water to open a portal to another dimension. The other dimensions can differ in art style from Patches, even being depicted in other art mediums or with different color schemes!

FAMILIAR

Patches' hat is a sentient fellow who was once sealed inside of a wooden frog statue, and takes the appearance of a witch hat. Compared to Patches, they are slightly more cautious and responsible in nature, but can easily be convinced by games and food.

WORLD

Patches lives in an apartment in an urban area, during a modern era on Venus. The city they live in is multicultural, having shops and events run by people who moved to the city from all over the world. Patches is an Earthling in origin, but has no memories of living on the planet. They own many picture books that are originally from Earth, especially ones depicting animals, and their knowledge of Earth comes from these books.
